Reliance Jio brings JioTV on web: How to watch live TV.

The company has now launched the web version of its JioTV app. With the web version, Reliance Jio users will be able to watch live TV on their laptops, PCs and Macs using the internet browser.

Reliance JioTV is now available as a website and customers can sign-in with their Jio ID to watch live television channels and shows on their desktop or laptop. The JioTV website works with any browser and it will let users watch these channels for free without having to rely on the apps. TelecomTalk first reported about the JioTV website, and this will now be the official web version for the app.

Reliance Jio’s networks comes packaged with a suite of apps from the company, which includes JioTV, JioCinema, JioMusic, etc. Jio’s suite of apps are free along with the Jio Prime membership and users can enjoy all the content on these apps for free. Where the JioTV app is concerned, it is available for iOS and Android devices (smartphones and tablets). On iOS, users need version 7.0 or higher and Android users need version 4.1 or higher to enjoy JioTV. JioTV and the other apps also work with JioPhone as well, which is a feature phone device.

The JioTV app offers a total of 530 channels out of which 140 are HD channels. However, the web version of the app offers slightly less number of channels. Star channels are not included as they are exclusive to Hotstar.

In order to watch JioTV on PC or laptop, users just have to follow some simple steps.

1. First you have to go to JioTV (jiotv.com & jiocinema.com) from any of the browser. The website works very well on Google chrome.

2. Once done, then you have to click on the login button placed on the right corner of the display

3. After this, the website will ask for your Jio ID. So just have to key in that login ID of your Jio account.

4. Now you will see the list of channels and different categories and languages. You just have to click and start streaming the program you wish to view. Some of the channels also allow the users to rewind one hour of programme and you can also view previous episodes.
